Nanso

5/28/2014

  4. Hello :)
No matter how hard I try, I don't understand a word of finnish. Does it say where the beautiful yello chair is from?

    Lovely blog by the way!!

    1. Haha, glad to hear that you tried :) I´m sorry, i really should write even few lines in english too. Promise to do that some time in future!
These photos are from a photoshoot, which I styled for a finnish brand called Nanso. That location was almost too good to be true. The beautiful vintage chair is designed by Ola Kettunen for Merivaara. Sometimes you can see those at fleamarkets and vintage stores.

      And thank you <3

    2. Wow, thank you very much for a fast reply :)

I 'read' a lot of finnish blogs, you have the absolute best design in the world.
I hope to go to Helsinki this summer, the next by the latest, but I will probably never learn the language. I haven't been there since the late 90s, a lot of things must have changed, but I hope there are still street signs in swedish :)

Greeting from a fellow vinyl junkie from Denmark

  6. I would be very grateful for tips to the city, thank you :-D

Actually, the first time I came to Helsinki, was to buy a record. I've heard a finnish punkband called Sweetheart and since I couldn't get the album in Denmark, I went to Helsinki, found a phonebook and went to all the recordstores one after one. I was 17 :-D
I really liked the city and went back a few times. Since then, I fell in love with finnish design, so it's time to visit again! I will, of couse, go and see the Aalto house/studio, but other than that, I'm not sure what is a must.

And, thank you so much for writing a little in english now, I really appreciate it :-)
